Course Overview

This hands-on course is designed to help learners harness the power of Microsoft Excel for data analytics. Through practical modules, participants will develop the skills to clean, analyze, visualize, and interpret data using Excel’s advanced features and tools.

  • Module 1: Introduction to Data Analytics & Essential Excel Functions
  • Module 2: Data Wrangling with Power Query
  • Module 3: Descriptive Analytics Techniques
  • Module 4: Creating Effective Data Visualizations
  • Module 5: Exploring Relationships Between Variables

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  1. Apply key mathematical, statistical, logical, and text functions for data processing
  2. Clean and transform data using Power Query
  3. Use Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts for dynamic data analysis
  4. Create impactful visualizations and choose appropriate graph types
  5. Summarize data using statistical functions
  6. Calculate and interpret correlations
  7. Apply predictive analytics using trend curves, regression, and smoothing techniques
  8. Conduct hypothesis testing and ANOVA
  9. Build interactive dashboards in Excel
