Comprehensive Taxation Certification
Delivery Mode: Microsoft Teams (Remote)
Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-8:30pm EST
Duration: 8 weeks (4 weeks of income tax and 4 weeks of business and corporate tax)
Course Description:
This 8-week course will cover all the essentials to help you navigate the world of taxation with ease. Career Skills provide tax software to students for hands-on training. You can pay separately for Income Tax T1 or Business Tax T2. Reach out to Career Skills for the payment code.

About the instructors:
Income tax instructor
Sumaiya Najarali is a CPA, CA with over 7 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, and taxation. She holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in Accounting and has also served as a teaching assistant for related courses at the University of Waterloo.
Business tax instructor
Zaimin Karmali is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and Microsoft Certified. She has a Masters in Adult Education and is a Certified Training Development Professional. She has over 10 years of teaching in both the public and private sector designing her own curriculum and training strategy on complex accounting and business topics. She has over 20 years of accounting, audit and tax experience and has worked with a wide array of clients both in the government and private sector. She has a passion for teaching and always will. She loves to make students’ learning journey as valuable as possible, her way of making a difference in the world.
Comprehensive Taxation Certification:
The Comprehensive Taxation certificate will be issued by Skills for Change. Skills for Change (Career Skills) is a recognized training institution by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities.
Tax Letters
Skills for Change offers tax letters for your tax returns. The Canadian government may refund you for all or part of the course payment when you file your taxes.
