Welcome to the Labourhood—join Cleo Sonier, a local Full–Spectrum Doula to learn about preparing for birth, labour and beyond!

Cleo Sonier is a local Full-Spectrum Doula and birthing advocate who has served families across the Lower Mainland and Victoria.

In this intimate 4–week prenatal course—you and your partner will learn about what to expect, how to support a peaceful labour and birth and how to care for yourselves and baby as you get to know each other in the first few weeks earthside. Additional topics include:

• Preparing for labour, coping and relaxation stratedgies
• Creating a supportive, nurturing environment for birth
• Exploring fears, consent and choosing a birth team
• Birth + postpartum planning and preparation
• Birth and aftercare
• Baby care, feeding and breastcare
• Postpartum health and transition into parenthood
• Babywearing and carrier tutorials
• Introduction to infant development, ergonomic support and infant massage with guest Postpartum Doula and Certified Infant Massage Teacher Sunny Side Doula
  
  This is a small group course—and open to parents with traditional, or non-traditional support systems. Your ticket includes a 'guest'—be it your partner, friend, parent or other support person.
