42nd Over the Hill Downhill

Join us for a weekend full of fun, friendly competition, and fast downhill skiing! The legendary Over the Hill race returns for its 42nd year. Grab your skis, speed suits, and the need for speed. Whether you're flying solo or teaming up with longtime friends, this is your shot to be crowned the fastest down the mountain. Teams will compete in categories based on combined age, ranging from 100 to 250+. Whether you're racing for glory, or you're there for the Après-ski, you won't want to miss this unforgettable weekend!

Team members can be as young as 11 years of age, or as seasoned; as they come, there are no gender restrictions on teams. No need to race on a team either, if you wish to race on your own - no problem, individuals can race as well! Come to SilverStar this winter to experience the longest standing recreational downhill race in Canada!

Race camps are held during the week leading up to the event, with qualifying races on Saturday and finals on Sunday. Please register for camp separately through our SnowSports team.

After the finals race on Sunday, join us in Townhall for an Après Social featuring complimentary snacks and beverages, followed by our awards ceremony. See the full weekend agenda below.
