Test your animal tracking abilities and investigative skills during this interactive “Whodunit” experience. As you learn about animal tracks, you will apply this knowledge to solve a “Conservation Caper”. This is a fun day of learning while snowshoeing surrounded by the scenic splendour of the Peterlougheed peaks. This is a family-friendly event for youth +10!

Full Day Snowshoe at Black Prince: 4.94 km (+182 m of elevation). You will need a moderate level of fitness to enjoy the day. *The trailhead is located on a gravel road with winter conditions. Winter tires are recommended. We will not be travelling in avalanche terrain.

Includes: ACMG Guide, Interpretive Material, Hiking Poles, Cleats or Snowshoes, Baked Goods

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation by the Path Less Taken due to situations beyond control (park closures, highway closures, natural disasters, illness of the guide, heavy smoke, windchill of -25 and below) - participants can choose to transfer full payment to another PLT trip or be refunded their money in full.
  • Cancellations made by the participant within 3 days of the trip start day will receive a 50% refund or transfer full payment to another PLT trip
  • No refund for no shows
