Overview

This event is intended for Child Care Supervisors, Directors, Managers, Home Child Care Visitors in the County of Lambton.

This is not just another book study, it is a space for authentic connection, curious conversation, and transformative thinking. We will explore the powerful ideas, stories, and structures offered in Anne Marie Coughlin and Lorrie McGee Baird’s book, Creating a Culture of Reflective Practice: The Role of Pedagogical Leadership in Early Childhood Programs. Using a deconstructive lens we will unpack assumptions, consider communication through a pedagogical lens, and reimagine what critical reflective practices can look like in our daily lives.

The PPRC has copies of Creating a Culture of Reflective Practice: The Role of Pedagogical Leadership in Early Childhood Programs for participants to borrow throughout this reflective journey. Each month we will consider a specific idea, story, or reflection from the book to support our practice and mentorship.

Participation in each session is not mandatory, but greatly encouraged.
