Overview

Join us for the second session in a series of three workshops hosted by Em/Kim Marshall and Dare Campbell from Blue Sky Learning!

What might it look like to accept, understand and move through our anxiety? What if we could get through feelings of overwhelm with self-kindness and a focus on care?

Join Dare and Em to unpack, normalize and build capacity around the experience of both nervousness and anxiety within the context of neurodivergence.

In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Recognize & normalize nervousness and anxiety as common experiences, particularly for neurodivergent folks
  • Identify activation points, moments and patterns in which nervousness & anxiety may show up for you
  • Build understanding around how these experiences can be shaped by neurodivergence-related factors
  • Create an “Anxiety Toolkit,” in which we’ll develop personalized strategies to help you manage your nervousness & anxiety

We’ll draw from a combination of tools, including group discussion, scenario-based examples and provide a digital worksheet to help guide us through the process.

This workshop will be led by experienced facilitators who have been working with disabled and neurodivergent communities for years. We strive to be affirming of all neurotypes and to approach our work through an anti-colonial, anti-oppressive lens.
