Young witches and wizards will create magical projects inspired by Elphaba, Glinda, and the wonder of Oz at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, Studio 2!
🎨 WHAT TO EXPECT 🎨
This thrilling 2-hour workshop transforms young fans into official citizens of Oz through creative crafting and an innovative digital experience. Kids will design, decorate, and build TWO incredible take-home projects inspired by the world of Wicked.
🎨 PROJECT 1: Wicked-Themed Hot Air Balloon Dive into the emerald magic of Oz! Kids will create a stunning Wicked-inspired craft featuring iconic Hot Air Balloon from the movie. With glitter, sequins, and paper, they'll design something truly gravity defying!
🧙♀️ PROJECT 2: Wicked Emerald City Sign Bring Emerald City to life! Young artists will craft their own Emerald City sign, complete with signature colors, magical accessories, and personalized touches!
Hot Air Balloon Digital Experience (NEVER SEEN BEFORE!) This is where the REAL magic happens! Kids will:
- Color and decorate their own unique hot air balloon design
- Watch as we SCAN their creation
- See their balloon come to life and FLY across a giant projected screen!
- Experience their artwork transformed into a breathtaking digital display
- Take home their original colored balloon PLUS witness it in our magical digital sky!

Our facilitators are experienced in working with elementary school-aged children and passionate about fostering creativity. We use state-of-the-art scanning and projection technology to bring your child's artwork to life in ways they've never experienced before!

Photos & Video: Workshop photos and videos of the digital projection experience will be taken and shared with registered families via email within 5 days of the event.
Technology: The digital scanning experience is facilitated by our staff—kids simply create their art and we handle the tech magic!
