Overview

Is technology accessible to you? Learn tips and strategies on how technology can become more accessible to you!

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many of our lives and has shed light on important issues. Technology has become even more important in connecting and sharing valuable information across the world.

Even with so many events and collaborations moving to online platforms, accessibility of the technology we use is often still being learned and practiced rather than being used whenever possible.

Join Plan Institute and Autism Edmonton for a 60-minute interactive webinar on accessibility and technology. Facilitator Liss Cairns (they/them) will go through the different tech accessibility considerations that Plan Institute has learned. We encourage you to learn more about how you can be more accessible, and to share accessibility tips you have and what has worked for you!

Facilitator

Plan Institute is a national nonprofit organization that works to empower people with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. While they are not the expert on accessibility, Plan Institute has and continues to be an advocate for improving the way we communicate so we don't create additional barriers for people with disabilities.
