*Accredited* VEGA Project Family Violence Education Resources Workshop
Overview
Build the confidence, clarity, and practical skills you need to respond safely and effectively to intimate partner violence and child maltreatment. Originally funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada and developed with 22 national health and social service organizations, the VEGA (Violence, Evidence, Guidance, and Action) Project provides trusted, pan‑Canadian guidance you can rely on.
This accredited, live, virtual workshop helps you move from uncertainty to readiness—so you can:
- Apply trauma‑ and violence‑informed practices in real situations, and
- Strengthen your ability to recognize and respond to signs of family violence and child maltreatment.
This session is accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (3 Mainpro+ Credits) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (3 MOC Section 1 Credits). Attendees must complete the workshop and a brief mandatory questionnaire to receive credit.
