I've never painted before. Is this class for me?

Absolutely! This class is designed for complete beginners, and also functions as a refresher for those with experience. This is a relaxed, supportive environment. I encourage questions, and exploring the medium at your own pace.

Are art supplies provided?

Supplies are not provided. You are expected to bring your own. A list of recommended materials will be sent to each person who purchases a ticket. Alternatively, you can purchase a basic art kit in advance from the instructor.

Where should I park?

There's lots of room. Please park up by the garage and studio. You are welcome to park in the area between the house and garage - just leave room for people to walk to the studio door.  Do NOT park by Marvin's kennel as the exhaust fumes are bad for him and he is reactive to vehicles.

What if I miss a class?

That's ok! We understand that life happens. Just let me know in advance not to expect you. If you miss a class, we can have a chat or text to discuss what you missed. You can work on things at home to get caught up before the next class.

Is the studio accessible if I am in a wheelchair or have mobility issues?

Accepted Answer

The studio is at ground level. You can park right in front of the door to limit distance. The driveway is gravel - which may be difficult - but we can help get you in the studio. The studio is spacious, as is the washroom. We can ensure the tables are arranged to allow space.Input is always welcome!

What about bad weather?

When you sign up for your class, please provide an email address or phone number so Jenny can reach you if conditions are unsafe for travel and the class is cancelled. It happens! We will bump the class end date as needed if any classes are cancelled.

Are there snacks?

We have bottled water, a variety of pop, coffee and tea that you are absolutely free to enjoy.  Mini chocolate bars and little packaged munchies are usually available to grab as you like. Also - feel free to bring your own snacks if you like. Just be ready to share!

Can my child take this class?

It's best to leave your littles at home so that the class can focus. But if you are a parent and run into a childcare issue during a class, please don't hesitate to reach out. The age range for our classes is 18 years and above, as the course is designed for adult learners.

Is there a washroom available?

Yes, there is a washroom in the studio.

Can we tour the farm?

Accepted Answer

No. The farm is off limits to visitors unless accompanied by Jenny. You may not enter the barn, garage, or outbuildings without Jenny's supervision for your and the animals' safety.
