Active Breathwork
Overview
You will be guided through an active and meditative breathwork practice aimed at calming the mind and opening you to clarity and self-compassion.
ABOUT BREATHWORK:
Breathwork is a transformative somatic practice that can help you move stagnant energy. It has the ability to reduce stress and anxiety and open you to clarity and personal growth.
You will be fully guided and supported through an active circular-style of breathing that invites you into a meditative state encouraging you to put space between you and the demands of your busy day, reconnect you with your self and open you to sense of calm, grounded clarity.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
1// Grounding. We’ll open the practice with a grounding guided meditation to help you arrive in the space.
2 // Intro to Breathwork. We’ll talk through what a breathwork session looks, the method of breathing and any faq’s that come up.
4 // Breathwork. We’ll be in active breathwork for about 30 minutes, then move into a savasanah-style of integration for about 10 minutes
5 // Closing. We’ll close the circle by answering any questions on what came up through breathwork and set you on your way.
WHAT TO BRING :
For the breathwork part of the class we’ll be laying down on yoga mats so I encourage you to dress comfortably and not come with a full belly. There are yoga mats (for a fee) and ample blankets and props available, but if you have a favorite, please bring it along.
It is common for your temperature to fluctuate as you body releases energy (from hot to cold) so you may want to bring layers and/or a blanket.
Finally, I encourage everyone to come with an open mind, an open heart, and be open to deep transformation!
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Laura Murphy is a 2x certified breathwork facilitator and has led hundreds of group and individual sessions since beginner her journey in 2018. Her top priority as a facilitator is to ensure you feel safe and supported in experiencing the power of the breath.his form of breathwork meditation offers a gentle and support gateway into the your physical, emotional and energetic body.
