Actorium Workshop: Introduction to Improv
Overview
Introduction to Improv
This three-hour workshop is your first step into Actorium’s Improv path. Improv is a powerful way to free your impulses, soften self-judgment, and experience the spontaneity of life. In this supportive environment, you’ll explore what it feels like to follow your impulses without fear of failure, gradually learning to trust yourself—on stage and in your daily life.
Rooted in Actorium’s three areas of study—Open to Change, Playing in the Present, and Teamwork—you’ll develop adaptability, deep listening, and the ability to respond truthfully to imaginary circumstances. Through games, exercises, and group reflection, we work toward ensemble, connection, and a shared sense of discovery.
This workshop gently invites you out of your comfort zone, offering a natural support system that meets you exactly where you are.
