Advanced Capture One: Mastering Professional Editing with Evan Will
Overview
Take your editing workflow to the next level with Evan Will, award-winning photographer and educator. This advanced Capture One session dives deep into the tools, techniques, and color science that define professional-grade image editing.
Evan will demonstrate how to fine-tune light, colour, and texture to bring your creative vision to life — using real-world examples from portrait, landscape, and commercial work. Learn how to craft precise masks, manage complex sessions, and build a fast, consistent workflow across multiple shoots.
This class goes beyond the basics to show how Capture One can become the centrepiece of your professional editing process.
What you’ll learn:
- Advanced colour grading and luminosity masking
- Layered editing and local adjustments
- Building custom styles and LUTs for consistency
- Tethered shooting techniques and live editing
- Workflow optimization for commercial and fine art work
Bring: your questions, advanced techniques you’d like to master, and your creative curiosity — Evan will show how to push Capture One to its full potential.
Please bring a laptop (ideally with Capture One installed), as well as some images to edit.
