Advanced Driver Awareness – Defensive Driving Course

This online course emphasizes the critical role of driver attitude in shaping behavior behind the wheel. Participants will explore the key elements of safe driving, including defensive driving, road safety, insurance, demerit points, stunt driving and a better understanding of the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.

Recognized by Ontario traffic courts, this course serves as a diversion program to reduce fines and demerit points for offenses such as Stunt Driving and Careless Driving under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.

The course is delivered as an instructor led ONLINE offering through an interactive, adult-learning model. This allows participants to actively engage with the material and apply the insights gained to assess and improve their own driving skills.

Requirements to participate in ADA Course:

1. It’s important you set up for the course in a quiet place, without distractions.

2. Please plan to be on the call 10 minutes prior to ensure you are connected, and your audio and video are functioning properly.

3. You must use a desktop, laptop or tablet. A phone is not acceptable, and you will be asked to reschedule to another date if you join using a phone.
