About this event

* By order of the PHO, proof of vaccination will be required to access events, including the Aerial Firefighting Conference.

The Aerial Firefighting Conference is a one-day event featuring sector-leading suppliers on hand to display and discuss new technologies and services. Taking place near the Abbotsford International Airport at Airside Event Spaces, the conference also includes a range of case studies and presentations from industry leaders to provide rotary- and fixed-wing operators, as well as their clients, with critical business information about the aerial firefighting sector.

Bell Textron Canada is offering demonstration flights of both helicopters to qualified operators and fire-agency personnel, immediately following the event. Conair aircraft on Display

Conair Aerial Firefighting will have on display a variety of fixed-wing aircraft from their balanced fleet, including Air Attack Bird Dogs, amphibious water bombers; plus both small and large airtankers (https://conair.ca/aircraft-fleet). Featured will be the new Dash 8-400AT, the most modern large airtanker on the global market today, produced in Conair’s Abbotsford Hangars. (Aircraft are scheduled to be at the airfield on October 26, allowing for the possibility that either helicopter might be needed for operation on that day.)
