Lecture - Dr. Waleed Yousef
Dr. Waleed A. Yousef is a Senior Scientist and Adjunct Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Victoria, and Founder & CEO of MESC Labs Inc. and Arabsera (www.arabsera.org ), an AI-based digital education platform. He specializes in statistical learning, pattern recognition, and data analytics, and previously served as a Research Fellow at the U.S. FDA, contributing to national machine-learning initiatives in medical diagnostics. Dr. Yousef developed LIBCAD, a leading computer-aided detection system for breast-cancer imaging, and holds multiple U.S. patents in machine learning. His work has earned the University Award in Engineering & Technology, NVIDIA’s GPU Grant, and several high-impact publication awards, along with invitations to speak at NIH, FDA, GWU, Ryerson University, and other institutions.
