This series blends policy clarity, hands-on practice, and future-focused skills development, giving participants practical tools they can use right away while empowering youth and nonprofits to advance meaningful work, innovation, and global goals.
Overview of Content & Key Deliverables
- AI Governance & Policy (January 20, 2026): This session focuses on AI fundamentals, ethical use, and developing initial policy foundations for the organization. Key policy areas covered include organizational AI governance models, data privacy, bias mitigation, and aligning policies with established frameworks like those from UNESCO and the Government of Canada. Key Deliverable: A Custom policy template and guidance.
- Responsible Generative AI (Content Tailored by Member Survey) (January 27, 2027): This is a practical session on prompt engineering and the ethical application of AI for nonprofit tasks. The content for this session will be specifically shaped by the recent member survey, which showed high interest in ethical considerations and improving tasks like Communications, Marketing, Research, and Data Analysis. The session will include concrete application examples and time for hands-on prompt practice. Key Deliverable: A Dedicated Prompt Builder Worksheet/Guide for immediate application.
- AI and the Global Goals (Skills Focus) (February 10, 2026): This session focuses on skills development by teaching youth how to identify, evaluate, and use accessible AI tools to support SDG advocacy and project development. Key Deliverable: A takeaway resource guide outlining tools and prompts for SDG action.

Bonnie Zink specializes in responsible Generative AI use and ethical communications practices to help nonprofit organizations amplify their impact. She is passionate about empowering the sector to adopt responsible AI practices for stronger knowledge mobilization, ethical storytelling, and efficient resource utilization to drive meaningful change.
