AMY MILLAN (Stars, Broken Social Scene) "You Went Out Tour" at Harmony Hall
Overview
Beloved singer-songwriter Amy Millan (Stars, Broken Social Scene) returns with her first solo album in over 15 years — and brings The You Went Out Tour to the intimate, acoustically stunning Harmony Hall on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026.
A voice that has shaped the sound of Canadian indie music for over two decades, Millan steps into a new creative chapter with I Went To Find You (out May 30th, 2025 on Last Gang Records). The album grew from a rare and powerful musical connection with award-winning composer Jay McCarrol, sparking a period of deep reflection, emotional honesty, and musical rebirth.
Milan’s new work is luminous, cinematic, and deeply personal — exploring memory, loss, friendship, and self-discovery with the warmth, poetry, and melodic grace that have defined her career.
This special Harmony Hall performance offers a chance to experience these new songs up close, alongside favourites from her solo catalog and reimagined gems from her work with Stars and Broken Social Scene.

About Amy Millan
A founding member of Stars and longtime satellite member of Broken Social Scene, Amy Millan has spent over 20 years shaping the landscape of Canadian indie music. Her new album, I Went To Find You, is her most candid and emotionally resonant work yet — produced by Jay McCarrol and recorded at the idyllic Lost River studio in the Laurentians, with engineering by Jace Lasek (Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Wolf Parade) and mixing contributions from Peter Katis (The National, Interpol).
Themes of memory, childhood, loss, and the unexpected rediscovery of creative joy run through the record, including the quietly majestic “Make Way for Waves” and the stunning lead single “Wire Walks.” Featuring performances from longtime collaborators including Evan Cranley, Kevin Drew, Charles Spearin, and James Shaw, the album marks a beautiful new chapter from one of Canada’s most treasured voices.
