Awakened Nights: Winter Solstice — Return of the Sun
Overview
On the night of the Winter Solstice, we gather to honour the return of the sun, the quiet turning point where light begins to grow again after the longest night. Across cultures and centuries, this moment has marked a time for release, reflection, and renewal.
This Awakened Art Night begins with a cacao ceremony led by Scarlett, opening the heart and settling the body for the evening ahead. Blythe will guide us through meditation and conscious breathwork, beautiful vocals, inviting softness, grounding, and presence. She will flow naturally into Delyar’s live sound journey, a layered soundscape of crystal bowls, chimes, and grounding rhythms that carry you deeper into stillness.
Our art focus for the evening is clay. Guided by Haisha, each guest will create an abstract candle holder using air-dry clay, a hand-formed vessel symbolizing the light that returns after darkness. The process is slow and intuitive, becoming both a meditation and a keepsake for the winter months ahead.
We close with gentle journaling and a soft reflection circle, carrying forward the warmth rekindled within as the new season begins.
