Becoming: A Dance of Liberation
Overview
Becoming: A Dance of Liberation
A 2-Hour Embodied Dance Immersion
This is an invitation to begin again, staring in your body.
Join the new 'Calgary Dance Collective' made up of 11 facilitators for a 2-hour immersive dance experience designed to support nervous system stabilization, embodied opening, and conscious exploration of who you are becoming as a liberated human.
We will begin by stabilizing your nervous system, grounding into safety, presence, and sensation. From there, we will gently open the body, heart, and mind, allowing movement to soften holding patterns, awaken vitality, and expand expression.
As the arc builds, you’ll be guided into an exploratory movement space to meet your "Becoming" the parts of you ready to emerge, shed, reclaim, or take a new form as you step into this new cycle of 2026.
We will then ground down to close the dance, supporting integration and connection. The experience concludes with shared reflection, first in pairs and then as a whole group, to weave insight, connection, and meaning.
No dance experience required, just a willingness to listen to your body.
