Beginner Guided Snowshoe at Shunda meadows 2BS (Nordegg)
Overview
Join us for a beautiful "out and back" adventure through the Winter Wonderland of Shunda Meadows, starting right from the Coliseum Mountain Resort.
This is a flat, easy, and scenic trail, perfect for a winter outing! The route will cover 4–6 km, making it an ideal opportunity to learn how to snowshoe in a supportive group setting.
- Snowshoeing: We will explore the wide, gentle trails on snowshoes.
- Winter Walk: If there isn't enough snow, we'll enjoy a beautiful and refreshing winter walk instead!
It's a wonderful way to slow down, enjoy the pristine landscape, and connect with nature.
Prepare for Adventure: Expect cold and snow—please dress warmly in layers and wear appropriate footwear. I will supply traction aids or snow shoes if conditions require them.
Hiking time is variable depending on the group. There is always plenty of time for lunch, photos and discussion. The end time in Eventbrite is just an estimate.
