Beginner Guided Snowshoe - Coal Camp Road (NW of Sundre) 2BS

By Coaching with Lucinda

Overview

A short winter hike (or snowshoe) with a roaring fire to warm up after. SNOWSHOES PROVIDED.

Join me for a beginner-friendly guided winter walk or snowshoe (4–6 km round trip) along the beautiful Cartier Creek recreation area.

This journey is designed for everyone—it features minimal elevation gain and a slow, steady pace, making it an easy and accessible way to enjoy the winter landscape. Your guide emphasizes the "enjoy the journey" philosophy, allowing plenty of time for beautiful photos and connection with the group.

We’ll stick to the safe, scenic trails alongside the river, turning back at the bike racks to avoid avalanche territory and keep the adventure gentle. Snowshoes will be provided for you if conditions require them; otherwise, we'll enjoy a classic winter hike!

To cap off our time together, we’ll gather for a cozy fireside warm-up. Your guide will provide hot chocolate and tea as we relax and share stories from the trail.

Prepare for Adventure: Expect cold and snow—please dress warmly in layers and wear appropriate footwear. I will supply traction aids or snow shoes if conditions require them.

Hiking time is variable depending on the group. There is always plenty of time for lunch, photos and discussion. The end time in Eventbrite is just an estimate.
