Event description

Description

Have you been wanting to learn how to roller skate, but don't know where to start? Start with Andi!

These lessons are for beginners only - we'll be working on the basics of skating, stopping, turning and falling (yes, falling).

Meet at the Grandview Park Bike Polo Court, lesson starts at 10:30am sharp, so please be geared up and ready to roll.

We'll be skating outdoors, so softer outdoor wheels on your skates are recommended. (Don't know what that means? RollerGirl.ca can help!) Also, if the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll have to cancel. If we do cancel, I'll send an email the day before to let you know.

If you don't have your own skates, you can rent some at RollerGirl.ca. They're at 185 East 11th Ave, open 12-6pm, Wed. - Sat.

Please wear full safety gear - that includes knee pads, wristguards, elbow pads and a helmet. You won't be able to skate without it, so please don't forget it.

IMPORTANT NOTE - This is not a free class, despite the description. This invitation is to reserve your spot in the class. You will need to pay $15 cash upon arrival. No cashy, no skatey.

Can't wait to skate with you!
