What's your refund policy?

If you’re no longer able to attend, refunds will be available up to 10 days before the event and will exclude the non-refundable ticketing fees charged by Eventbrite.

What's your cancellation policy?

Since we are a small non-profit, this event is dependent on our ability to cover hosting costs. On the rare chance that we are unable to do so, we will notify you 10 days in advance and you will be issued a full refund.

Will there be refreshments?

Yes! There will be small bites (vegetarian/vegan options available) and non-alcoholic drinks provided. There will also be a cash bar with alcoholic drinks. We recommend having a light dinner beforehand because the food will be appetizer style and there won't be enough for a full meal.

An evening of meaningful conversations and community for those seeking connection with others through dialogue and shared exploration.

Being and Becoming is hosting its annual social on Saturday, January 31st, from 7–10 pm at the Centre for Social Innovation (192 Spadina Ave). For the past two years, we’ve been organizing in-person conversations about love, morality, humour, AI, forgiveness, democracy, consciousness, and more. Once a year, we come together for a big social that welcomes anyone who enjoys exploring ideas, questions, and experiences with others in a more spontaneous (and perhaps also serendipitous) way than our usual programming. Come solo or bring a friend!

We’re coming together at one of our favourite venues, the Centre for Social Innovation, to meet friends, spark conversations about questions big and small, and celebrate two years of being and becoming curious together (sorry, we couldn’t resist). There will be just enough facilitation to help you find others who share your curiosity about the same questions, along with refreshments (small bites and non-alcoholic beverages), and a cash bar.

Whether you've attended our events before or joining us for the first time, we're excited to welcome you. Spread the word to others and we hope you can join us!

Ticket Cost
If attending our social is not financially feasible for you, or our ticketing system presents some other barrier for you, please reach out to us info@beingnbecoming.org. We have a few free tickets set aside while quantities last. These tickets will be first-come, first-served, no questions asked! You can expect to hear back from us within 72 hours.
