Supportive housing projects are created by teams of highly skilled organizations with complimentary skills working in close partnership with each other. Together they navigate a carefully orchestrated development process that involves funders, supporters from the community and the development team members themselves.
‘Best Practices in Supportive Housing’ will explore:
- Development -What does it take to put a project together? What does a well-planned project look like?
- Partnerships -What sort of organizations need to come together? What are the roles and responsibilities of each partner?
- Agreements -What should MOUs and MOA’s cover and include? What happens when conflicts arise between team members arise? And more …
This session targets housing and service providers, including but not limited to those currently developing or interested in developing supportive housing.
Will food and drinks be provided?
Light refreshments will be provided.
