Overview

Beyond the Book Information Session for Parents and Teens

Everyone could benefit from a mentor. Now, with our Beyond the Book program, teens in grades 8-12 can be matched with a volunteer mentor and meet online weekly. Volunteers are current Post Secondary School Students and can help teens build skills in communication, what to expect in high school or post secondary school and more. Each session is tailored to the goals and interests of you! This program is a valuable way to build skills and confidence so you are better prepared for transitions in education and life. Parents and teens must register for a Beyond the Book Teen/Parent Information Session to learn more about the program and receive registration information. For more information, contact literacy@lpl.ca. The registration starts on November 25, 2026.

The personal information collected from you when registering will be used in the process of London Public Library’s business and is done so according to the Library’s Privacy Policy. Please note that Eventbrite is a commercial service with its own Privacy Policy.
