Breathing Life: AR Image Anchor workshop
Get ready to dive into the world of Augmented Reality with our super fun and hands-on AR Image Anchor workshop! This is an in-person event where you’ll learn how to make images come alive right before your eyes. Whether you're a tech newbie or a creative pro, you'll leave with cool new skills and a fresh perspective on AR. Don’t miss out on this exciting chance to bring your ideas to life in a whole new dimension!
Based on her work ‘If time could listen’, join Taylor McArthur for an in-person workshop in image anchors for Augmented Reality pieces. Learn how you can use Blender and 8th Wall together to make printed media come alive in 3D augmented space. If you’re interested in integrating virtual experiences into print media, this is the workshop for you!
Participants are asked to bring their own computers with Blender and 8th Space installed (all free), or are welcome to attend and watch without a computer.
Presented in conjunction with McArthur’s solo exhibition ‘the sky remembers’ running from October 17th to December 13th, 2025 and the IMAA Virtual Exhibition Residency with resident artist Colton Smith.
‘If time could listen’ was originally commissioned for C Magazine, issue 160 (Spring 2025)
