Bricks and Books

Drop-in between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM

Designed for children and families, Bricks and Books encourages literacy through hands-on building challenges inspired by stories, characters, and themes from children’s books.

Each session features a themed book collection for parents and children to enjoy together, followed by a LEGO® challenge that brings the story to life — whether it’s building a scene, designing a character, or solving a story problem.

Participants develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and a love of reading while working individually or collaboratively. Ideal for children in Kindergarten to Grade 3 with parent participation.

Bricks and Books fosters a playful learning environment where stories leap off the page — and into the bricks!
