About the Workshop

This half-day workshop, hosted by Dr. Laura Rosella’s Population Health Analytics Lab with support from the Sustainable Development Goals at University of Toronto, focuses on how community experience data can be integrated with health system and patient experience data to strengthen local decision-making and advance equitable research in Peel Region.


Learning objectives

After this session, attendees will:

  • Understand why community flourishing is important.
  • Explore key indicators to measure flourishing.
  • Play with dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Brainstorm how to use flourishing data in Peel.

  • Community and public health practitioners
  • Health system and municipal decision-makers
  • Researchers, analysts, and data stewards
  • Community-based organizations and advocacy groups
