About this event

The day will consist of morning meetings on Parliament Hill followed by an afternoon with civil society actors in Ottawa.

The morning will begin with an in-person briefing on Parliament Hill with members of the Canada-Ukraine Friendship Group. The briefing will be followed by a press conference to be hosted on the Hill.

The afternoon events will take place off the Hill, including recognized organizations in the Ukrainian diaspora and civil society actors in Ottawa. Potential sites include Universities.

9:00- 10:15 AM Briefing on Parliament Hill- Building (to the Canada-Ukraine Friendship Group. Delivered by John Packer (Professor Neuberger-Jesin, Director Human Rights Research and Education Centre) and Azeem Ibrahim (Research Professor at the Strategic Studies Institute, Director at Newlines Institute).

11:00 AM Press Conference
