About Birdsong New Music Foundation

Birdsong was established in memory of musician David Martin, who lived with mental health challenges. The charity helps others like him to compose and publish new music as a tool for personal healing.

About Mae Martin

Mae Martin is an award-winning comedian, actor, writer, and producer who hosts the hit comedy podcast Handsome alongside Tig Notaro and Fortune Feimster. Mae is best known for co-creating, writing, and starring in the semi-autobiographical comedy series ‘Feel Good,’ featuring Lisa Kudrow. The series received a BAFTA Award nomination, and The Guardian praised the show as “immaculately written.” Mae also appeared in the HBO series ‘The Flight Attendant.’ In 2023, they released a comedy special on Netflix titled ‘Mae Martin: SAP’ to positive reviews. Up next, Mae will co-showrun, star, write, and executive produce the Netflix thriller series ‘Wayward,' which they also created. Mae is currently featured in the new Netflix documentary OUTSTANDING: A COMEDY REVOLUTION.
