Brown Girl Voices: An Open Mic Night

Brown Girl Voices: An Open Mic Night

By The Girls Club

Overview

An intimate evening of poetry, spoken word, and storytelling by Brown women, for Brown women.

Brown Girl Voices 🤎 is an intimate night of poetry, spoken word, music, and lyrical expression created for Brown women and femmes to share, listen, and connect.

This evening centers our voices in all their forms — poems, spoken word, song lyrics, reflections, and lived stories. Whether you step up to perform, share a piece of music or lyrics, or simply come to listen, you are part of the space.

Brown Girl Voices is about creative expression, community, and being witnessed in a supportive, judgment-free environment. No experience is needed. No pressure to perform. Just come as you are — with your words, your voice, or your listening heart.

Join us for a night of storytelling, sound, and collective voice 🤎
