Build Your Own Digital Camera (Live Workshop)
Overview
A 1-hour live session walking you through the full design, hardware, and software behind my custom monochrome waist-level viewfinder camera — including downloadable STL files and camera code so you can build your own.
What This Workshop Covers
This session is a complete behind-the-scenes walkthrough of how I designed and built my monochrome waist-level camera from scratch.

- How the camera body was designed
- STL file breakdown
- Recommended print settings, materials, and tolerances
- How to prepare and assemble the printed parts
2. Hardware & Electronics
- The components used in the build
- Wiring the sensor, display, buttons, and Pi
- Power considerations and recommended modules
- Tips for clean wiring + compact builds
3. Software & Camera Code
- How the camera software works
- Live walkthrough of the Python code
- How to run it on your own Raspberry Pi
- Customizations you can add (film sims, peaking, etc.)
4. Live Q&A
Ask me anything about the build process, troubleshooting, or adapting the design to your own project.
