About this event

You’re invited to join us and TC Energy for a webinar on Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 1 p.m. ET to discuss building digital capacity and business resiliency during the COVID-19 pandemic.

What sparked TC Energy’s agility to mobilize its people to work remotely during COVID-19? Digital innovation was the foundation that enabled TC’s employees to remain productive, collaborative and connected in the wake of the pandemic. When TC leveraged the tools and resources in place to assist its workforce, it enabled TC to adapt and embrace change and new ways of working. Embracing change allows organizations to accomplish things they didn’t know were possible – it unlocks creativity and innovation, inspiring and motiving people to realize untapped potential and deliver outstanding business outcomes to build business resiliency.

Please join Chris Foster, Vice-President, Information Services and Chief Information Officer for this webinar moderated by Ulrike Bahr-Gedalia, Senior Director of Digital Economy, Technology & Innovation at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

Chris Foster, Vice President, Information Services and Chief Information Officer

As Vice-President, Information Services and Chief Information Officer, Chris is responsible for all information services and technology needs across TC Energy, including critical services such as cyber security and digital transformation. Chris' interest in IT has never been about the technology itself; what drives his passion are the business outcomes that can be achieved through digital innovation.

Since joining TC Energy in 2016, Chris has held a number of progressively senior positions in information services, including Chief Information Security Officer. Chris’ previous experience includes 20 years in various IT leadership roles in the oil and gas, telecommunications and education sectors. In that time, he was responsible for IT infrastructure, network, architecture and leading the development of business enablement solutions
