Take part in a unique opportunity to innovate, learn, and create a real-world solution for better health & aging in place, in a cutting-edge setting, while collaborating with like-minded peers and professionals from across the University of Calgary.

When: 5 PM, Friday November 4th to 5 PM, Sunday November 6th, 2016

Who can participate:
Biomedical Engineering (Limited to fourth-year students)
Cumming School of Medicine (Undergraduate Medical Education)
Department of Computer Science
Faculty of Environmental Design (Students already registered)
Faculty of Nursing
Haskayne School of Business

What do you get?
Prizes will be awarded to winning teams, including the incorporation of your idea into an existing architectural innovation, and initial consultations with PwC, Bennett Jones, and Market Grade.
T-shirts and other freebies
Catering will be provided throughout the 48-hour competition
A chance to work in a team with students from other faculties, and have your winning designs come to life

What do I need to do?
Hurry – only the first 8 students from each faculty will be accepted, 1st come – 1st served. All others will be placed on a cancellation list.
Deadline for registration is Friday, October 21st, 2016.
Bring a laptop, and be available for the entire 48-hour period


The fine print

The organizers, all faculty members of the University, will be seeking ethics approval to research and report on the event. You will be asked, though not obligated, to participate in the follow-up study.

We will try our best to meet all dietary restrictions.
