
Calm in the Chaos 1/2 Day Retreat
Overview
This 1/2 day retreat will calm your nervous system, foster a connection with your Self, remind you of the bliss of silence, and allow your body & mind to rest so your spirit can be renewed. It also provides a space for those who are experiencing burnout or stress or who live with anxiety to practice techniques for wellbeing.
WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?

* those who are living in stress or burnout and want to cultivate more calm or rest
* those who live with anxiety and seek ways to support living a full life with anxiety
THIS RETREAT INCLUDES:
* meditation & mindfulness techniques for stress, burnout, and anxiety
* somatic release and soothing exercises
* gentle & restorative yoga
* reflection & journalling
* Yoga Nidra (sleep yoga)
* Reiki
* support circle
* tea / snacks

* yoga mat
* water bottle (filled)
* small pillow for under your head during Yoga Nidra (optional)
* blanket or shawl
* eye cover/pillow/cloth
* warm socks/slippers
* journal & pen

Bolsters and spare blankets are provided at the studio.

YOUR FACILITATOR:
Tina Pomroy M.Ed. (Counselling Psychology), MBA, CMEC, RYT200
Tina is a 200-hour certified Hatha Yoga teacher with numerous additional yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and mental health trainings, including a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology. She is a Certified Mastermind Executive Coach, has completed Usui Reiki Level I & II, is currently studying somatic healing, and is expecting to receive her Canadian Certified Counsellor designation by 2026. Tina has been teaching yoga and meditation and facilitating retreats and wellness programs for over 10 years.
