What is the cost to attend and how do I buy a ticket?

Accepted Answer

$20.41  through the Toronto District School Board's web site identifying CCI as the recipient for the event. All payments via Credit card. TDSB charges a 2% credit card fee, thus a $.41 charge. Event Coordinators do not collect any cash or take / receive any payments for tickets.

Why am I being charged to attend my own school?

This is a fund raiser for the school and NOT a free Open House. The school's admin. can use the donations for whatever they feel benefits the student population. The school funds  incidental costs beyond volunteer time, such as caretaking staff , pay duty police officers for crowd control etc.

What and Who can I expect to see?

The Itinerary is  still TBD. We are planning to publish some designated areas of the gymnasiums, hallways, class rooms, auditorium, cafeteria at various times for class years or decades, yearbook displays, various sport groups. Some non-alcoholic refreshments and CCUIapparel may be available to buy

What about Parking?

The logistics of parking for possibly 2,000  is in process of development. We fully expect the school parking lot to be overwhelmed, with overflow parking at the Community Centre, and Cedarbrae Mall Parking to be very tight. Car Pooling is encouraged. Details to be shared closer to the event date.

Question 5

Why do you need my email address and last year attended?

Accepted Answer

Email addresses are used to send you a digital ticket for admission scanning.
These are stored behind a secure firewall and they are not used for any solicitation. Donation receipts for tax deduction purposes are issued to email addresses. Last year attended helps others see who is coming.

Question 6

Out of Town visitors or travel inhibits your attendance?

If there is enough out of town travellers, perhaps someone can take the lead in a group rate of accommodation.
For those unable to make the event due to residence in other provinces or countries, we would love to promote that you still were able to donate to this fund raiser.
