Your Annual Artist Journey: Reflect. Reimagine. Renew your path.
- “Celebrate where you’ve been, envision where you’re going.”
- “A creative pause to chart your year ahead.”
- “Your art, your story, your next chapter.”
- “Honouring the journey, shaping what’s to come.”
What to Expect:
This full-day workshop invites artists to pause, reflect, and chart their path forward in a way that feels inspiring and creative as you reflect, reimagine and renew your path.
Together, we will walk through the stages of an annual journey:
- Celebrating Achievements – Honouring milestones and successes from the past year.
- Recognizing Challenges – Gently exploring obstacles and lessons learned along the way.
- Imagining What’s Next – Identifying a meaningful path that aligns with your creative vision and growth.
Using guided exercises, group discussion, and a supportive template, participants will shape a personal roadmap for the year ahead. By the end of the day, each artist will leave with a clear, motivating direction—grounded in self-reflection and designed to support both artistic practice and creative opportunities.
This workshop offers artists a chance to step back from the day-to-day, reconnect with their purpose, and move into the new year with clarity and confidence.
About the Artist / Presenter:
Jo-Anne Oucharek
Jo-Anne Oucharek is an award-winning wildlife photographer with a passion for capturing the raw beauty and hidden stories of nature. Photography has always been part of her life, but when she moved to Cochrane in 2014, she brought her camera out of retirement—and discovered a whole new adventure behind the lens.
For Jo-Anne, photography is about more than images—it’s about connection. She shares her work through both photos and the stories that bring them to life, hoping to inspire others to see the beauty, resilience, and importance of the creatures we are privileged to witness in their natural world. Over the past decade, she has also built strong bonds with like-minded photographers who share the belief that nature must always come first.
