Overview

Offering students in Grades 2 - 5 a festive, educational, and hands-on holiday experience across our heritage sites.

Each session is approximately 1 hour and is offered at:

9:30 am

11 am


Please note: Bookings are on a first come, first served basis and must be booked through the EventBrite platform. Only 10 program sessions are available.

Maximum group capacity: 30 participants (students + teachers/chaperones)

Suggested cost: $2.00 per student (can pay the day of the program)

Program includes:

Holiday Traditions/Christmas Tree Exhibit at Lefurgey Cultural Centre: Students explore the history and traditions of the holiday season, followed by a Christmas tree display scavenger hunt.


Christmas Sing-Along with Mike Dixon: A lively sing-along featuring classic holiday songs, surrounded by festive trees.


MacNaught History Centre & Archives Activity: Students create a festive holiday ornament to take home and enjoy a brief introduction to the Archives.


Sugar Rush! Candy Exhibit: A sweet visit to our candy-themed exhibit. Students will receive a candy cane treat to take home.


*Accessibility: The first levels of Lefurgey and MacNaught are accessible. For the craft station in MacNaught, there will be a set of stairs to navigate. Please let us know if any of your students require accommodation.

*Supervision: Teachers and chaperones are responsible for student supervision throughout the visit.

*Cancellation: If you need to cancel for any reason, please contact the event organizer as soon as possible so that another classroom can take advantage of your booking spot.
