Cheakamus Centre Eagle Viewing Day
Overview
Join us at Cheakamus Centre on Friday, January 2 for our annual Eagle Viewing Day! Nestled in Paradise Valley, this event offers a unique chance to learn about the majestic bald eagles wintering along the Cheakamus River. Enjoy a hot lunch and warm beverage in our Environmental Learning Centre, make bannock by the fire and engage with the Indigenous Cultural team, explore our interpretive displays, and visit our farm for family friendly activities, all while listening to the chatter of eagles overhead.
Your visit includes a thoughtfully prepared buffet meal at our Environmental Learning Centre. We are committed to serving nourishing, delicious food that keeps our students and guests healthy, happy and energized. Two seating times are available.
Are you an educator? As a thank you to the teaching community, this event is offered with a special discount code for educators and their families. Please email niki@cheakamuscentre.ca for details. Cheakamus Centre is proud to be a centre of excellence in environmental and Indigenous cultural education and we look forward to welcoming you.
Partial proceeds for this event will be applied to our education bursary program. We hope you’ll join us to connect with nature and experience the incredible sight of eagles soaring above our beautiful private grounds. Bring your binoculars or camera to capture the moment.
