About The Performance
A Magnetic, Interactive Eco-Concert for Curious Children (Ages 5–11)
Join Chris McKhool, Canada’s self-proclaimed “eco-troubadour,” as he turns environmental education into a sing-and-dance concert that’s as goofy as it is green. This fully interactive musical adventure gets children clapping, scatting, and dancing while they learn to care for our majestic forests, dancing in the air, and shimmering seas—because teaching kids about ecology doesn’t have to suck the fun out of the room.
Why Parents (and Earth) Will Thank You
- 100% audience participation, zero yawns – Kids jump, kids sing, kids talk about caring for the planet. Bingo—attention retained, fun maximized.
- Built on nostalgia—with a modern environmental heartbeat – Chris incorporates tunes from his appearances on Mr. Dressup, YTV’s Treehouse, TVO’s Crawlspace, and the CBC. Gen-X and Millennial parents? Prepare to feel delightfully transported.
- Award-winning credibility – Earth, Seas & Air earned Chris a 2005 Green Toronto Award of Excellence, was a Parents’ Choice winner, and his children’s album Fiddlefire! snagged a Canadian Folk Music Award while earning a JUNO nomination.
- More than fun—it's curriculum-friendly – Songs spark meaningful conversations about environmental stewardship, teamwork, wonder, and leadership. Think rich, playful pedagogy.
- Globally loved, locally touring – Live appearances across Ontario (including Kirkland Lake and many others), plus a recent free "Pizza & Pajamas" community concert that literally fed families while inspiring them.
