The Venue
The Newmont Stage at the BMO Theatre Centre is a NEW state-of-the-art intimate 237-seat studio theatre located in the heart of the Olympic Village in the Downtown Vancouver area. Directly connected to The iA Financial Group Atrium is a standout floor-to-ceiling windowed Atrium, which is the perfect setting for our Graduation Ceremony. A full bar available for drinks and snacks.
Soak in the abundance of natural light in this beautifully modern setting. This space is wheelchair accessible and near gender-neutral and accessible bathrooms. Two rooms are available for you to change into your cap and gown.
Décor
With our students in mind, CICCC has hired an award-winner florist to decorate the theatre and the atrium area to make your day even more special!
Gowns, Cap and Tassels*
Premium quality Graduation regalia will be provided for rental at no extra cost at the venue on the day of the event.*
*must be returned at the end of the event to avoid $150 surcharge.
Professional Photography
A professional photographer will be available before and after the ceremony with instant photo viewing for individual or group photos at no extra cost.
Each student will receive 1 Professional photo.
Ceremony
A beautifully orchestrated ceremony with the presence of our President, Key Faculty members, and a special student guest speaker. We will celebrate you and our Canadian ancestral background together with a First Nations Drums presentation, followed by Canada’s national anthem.
Livestreaming of the event
We will stream the event live so your entire family and friends can virtually celebrate with you from anywhere in the world!
Cheers
Ginger Ale will be offered to you on a champagne flute after the ceremony. Your photos will look even more festive now!
Cupcakes
How could we celebrate your achievement without a cake? One of the top Vancouver Cake Designers will produce beautiful cupcakes for you to celebrate with!
After-Party
We are not done yet! We really mean, Let’s Celebrate!!! Vancouver’s night scene waits for you at the one and only Celebrities Nightclub – a landmark for Vancouver's nightlife!
Celebrities will be hosting a VIP Party for you at no extra cost!!
This includes a photographer and videographer and, of course, the best DJ in town!!!

Who qualifies as a Graduate?
- Tech students who have completed their academic periods
- Management students who have completed their co-op terms
- ESL students finishing their courses by March 27th
