A community watershed assembly to share perspectives and help shape a collective vision for the protection of the Eastern Slopes headwaters

Land Lovers Network is hosting a series of community watershed assemblies across the Eastern Slopes of Alberta. These gatherings are designed to listen, learn, and bring people together around the long-term protection and restoration of our shared headwaters.


This assembly will focus on the Cochrane and Bow River, Jumpingpound Creek, and Ghost River areas, creating space for local knowledge, lived experience, and community priorities to inform a broader Eastern Slopes Watershed vision.


What to Expect

• A short framing presentation

• Facilitated small-group discussion

• An interactive survey to map shared values and perspectives

• Opportunities to stay involved locally and regionally


Who Should Attend

Residents, landowners, farmers, Indigenous community members, recreationists, conservation groups, municipal representatives, and anyone who cares about clean water, healthy landscapes, and future generations.
