Comedy on the Green: Andrew Rivers

Andrew’s very personal and fun storytelling comedy, combined with his exemplary work ethic, has earned him high praise from some of the best comedians in the business. Andrew is a regular opener for Christopher Titus, has toured across North America and Europe with Steve Hofstetter and appeared on the Joy Podcast with Craig Ferguson.

Andrew’s comedy specials with Dry Bar Comedy and others – including Gun Enthusiasts Aren’t Funny (Dry Bar Comedy, 2018), For The Wrong Reasons (800 Pound Gorilla, 2021) and Hello, Beautiful (800 Pound Gorilla, 2024) – have earned millions of views online. As well as viral clips from Steve Hofstetter’s Heckler Videos. His joke about a dentist got so many views, the dentist gave Andrew fake teeth for free but he’s still not getting matches on Tinder.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Andrew was heavily involved with the Social Distancing Social Club and Nowhere Comedy, not only helping provide virtual entertainment during the pandemic, but raising money for people in the performing arts during a time of need. Also, the only places open during lockdown were pot shops and grocery stores… so Andrew was basically a hero for the economy.

Andrew is based in Seattle and loves performing in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area, but also tours around the world!
