Overview
Welcome to Community Calm: An Emotion Skills Lab! Join us in the Meeting Room at Lake Lynn Community Center for an interactive, science-based workshop that helps you understand your emotions and stress responses in today’s overwhelming world.
Led by Elizabeth Hoose, Psy.D. of Breyta Psychological Services, this 2-hour lab offers practical tools to regulate your nervous system, manage ongoing stress, and reconnect with calm and community.
You’ll explore how chronic exposure to distressing media and life events impacts emotional health, learn the “Emotional Cup” framework for balance, and leave with your own personalized crisis-prevention and coping plan.
