About this event

We're committed to building community, strengthening relationships and supporting organizations working to support the Beaver Hills Biosphere's mandate and we're excited to have you join us at our very first Community Connections Workshop.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • The Beaver Hills Biosphere will highlight what we do and review what we heard from our recent survey of community groups about building capacity for their efforts in the Biosphere.
  • Our keynote speaker, Alison Besecker, will walk through what you need to know about getting the best out of your volunteer recruitment and retention efforts.
  • You'll participate in a facilitated activity and roundtable discussion sharing your experiences and best practices for recruiting and retaining volunteers.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn, connect and network with others who are interested in and passionate about all the Biosphere has to offer and for growing the capacity of the organizations working in the Beaver Hills. Refreshments and lunch will also be provided.

Seating is limited to 40 attendees. Reserve your spot today!
