This course provides an overview of administrative requirements and responsibilities within CCDC construction contract forms.

Overview

This course will provide the participants with an overview of the various administrative requirements and responsibilities contained within the various CCDC construction contract forms. CCDC guide manuals will be referenced and used. Participants will be provided with copies of administrative forms to assist in navigating those requirements and responsibilities.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Differentiate between the contract and the contract documents
  2. List the six common modern construction contract arrangements.
  3. Correspond those arrangements to documents used in Canada to form them.
  4. Complete and execute the documents.
  5. Understand the parties’ various administrative responsibilities under those contracts.
  6. Fulfill those administrative responsibilities.
  7. Identify the various administrative forms necessary to meet obligations and responsibilities.
  8. Refer to various guide documents to assist in the process of executing contractual responsibilities.

OACETT Members will receive 6 hours of active CPD for this course.


About Ralph Lembcke

Ralph Lembcke, P. GSC. holds a certificate in Construction Engineering Technology and Management from Fanshawe College, a teaching certificate from St. Clair College and a Professional Gold Seal certification from the Canadian Construction Association. His career has taken him from estimator to project manager, from self-employed contractor to a 30-year career as a professor with the Donald J. A full refund will be provided to registrants who provide a minimum of two(2) business days cancellation notice prior to the start of the course. The course participant will also have the option of transferring their ticket to a different course start date, depending on availability.

Cancellation by Instructor:

Decisions on course cancellations will be made prior to the course start date, early registration is recommended. If you register for a course that is canceled by the instructor, you will receive a full refund.
