Introducing the cooking class series: Kitchen Skills Series
Classes meant to enhance your skills in the kitchen with some demonstration of basic, to get your cooking to the next level, without the chef jargon… we’ll make it easy, promise! Learn to make stocks, dough, puff pastry… and so much more!
For the 6th class of the series, we will show you how to make Brioche! This magic dough is more than a sweet bread! You’ll learn how to make the dough and a few recipe to use it with, such as:
- Basic Brioche Loaf
- Braided Brioche with pearl sugar
- Brioche Cinnamon Rolls
- Savory BBQ Pork Buns
This class is demonstration style, and the portions are not full portions each, but enough to keep you full ;).
Please note: This class is recommended if you own an electric mixer (Kitchen-Aid), as we will demonstrate how to do the dough with the help of one!

The food demonstrated and served contains gluten, dairies, nuts and other ingredients that are considered as allergen, as well as our kitchen, where all kind of food is being handled. Substitutions are not always possible. If any concerns, please inquire prior to booking!
Cash and other payment can be made directly at the cafe, 48hrs before class start. No spots are guaranteed until payment has been received.
No refund will be issue 48 hrs prior the start of the class (including last minute booking). Possibility to send someone in your place can be arranged.
Minimum 6 participants required to run this class. Class may be cancelled if not filled 24 hours prior, and all deposit will be refunded.
Alcohol and snacks will be served during the class. You are welcome to bring soft drinks (outside alcohol not permitted) and other food items for yourself or to share during the class.
Everyone is welcome; however, min required age is 19.
The event is mainly demonstration style. Our kitchen is not equipped for every students to cook, but when possible, I will hand over some work!
Venue is conveniently located 5 min driving distance from downtown Vancouver, easily accessible by public transportation and free street parking is available.
Don’t forget to bring your camera, notepad and containers for leftovers!
