Cooking with Diabetes
Overview
Learn about cooking with diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol with Vaughan Community Health Centre as we cook up delicious lunches together week to week!
Menu:
- Thurs Jan 29: Osh-e Jow (Barley & Leek Soup), Chicken Bulgur Salad, Turkish Mercimek Koftesi (red lentil & bulgur patties), and Maple Pumpkin-spice Oatmeal Cookies
Please note that menu items are subject to change.
The room capacity is limited. All individuals planning to be inside the kitchen during the program must be registered as a participant. This includes any adult accompanying a child. Please contact the VMC service desk if you have questions.
We are a nut-aware space and do not use nuts in our programming, but we cannot guarantee a nut-free facility. Please alert us of any allergies when registering on Eventbrite. Our kitchen programs are held in the VSES Teaching Kitchen, located on the third floor.
